Outline:
Different renters live under the same root in a remote valley: A small town girl with aspiration to be an author, an unlawful worker from Mongolia who would sustain his family, a divorced middle-aged woman who is brave enough to go after love, and the seemingly-mean landlord Grandma who has a secret for over four decades. They would live their respectively life with care but their life is imbued with stories. They would jostle for each other in daily life but leave traces of power when they are going laundry.
